This year's Senedd election— which will take place on 6 May— will be the first ever where 16- and 17-year-olds and foreign residents living in Cymru will be eligible to vote, following the enactment of Senedd and Elections (Wales) Act in January 2020.

Opinion polls currently suggest a three-horse race between Labour, the Conservatives, and Plaid Cymru.
The registration process to vote takes approximately five minutes and all that is required, except for basic personal information, is your National Insurance number.
The deadline to register is Monday 19 April at 11:59pm.
