Welsh Rugby Union Chief Executive Steve Phillips has said that he hopes to see ten thousand fans attend Cymru's fixtures against Canada and Argentina at the Principality Stadium in Caerdydd this summer.
Cymru is scheduled to play test matches against Canada on July 3, and Argentina on July 10 and 17.
Phillips said: "Providing the Welsh government are comfortable with the Indian variant, I would be optimistic for the Wales matches against Canada and Argentina."
Phillips pointed out that 10,000 fans had attended both the Heineken Champions Cup and Challenge Cup finals at Twickenham on Saturday May 22.
He also hopes that the WRU will receive confirmation on crowd capacity on 7 June.
