Welsh house prices rise 10.9% in past year— higher than anywhere else in UK

Welsh house price have risen by 10.9% on average over the past 12 months, according to figures from property website Rightmove. This compares with an increase of 5.6% for the UK as a whole.


House prices in Cymru have risen by 2.3% in the past month alone.


This means that the average asking price for a property in Cymru now stands at £236,037.


The average property price in Cymru is higher than it is in Scotland and the English regions of Yorkshire and Humber, North West England, and North East England.
