The Welsh Government will once again attend a controversial arms fair, it has been revealed.
The Welsh Government said that a "small number of officials" would be attending the event. It has had a presence at the event over the past ten years.
The UK government, which supports the Defence and Security Equipment International event, has invited sixty-two countries to attend this year. These include countries that were on the government's 2019 human rights watch list.
In response to the decision, Plaid Cymru's spokesperson on international affairs, Heledd Fychan, said: "Plaid Cymru condemns any action that supports the development and sale of weapons of mass destruction.
"The Welsh government should be working to prevent such action, but instead are putting public money towards the continued support of this contemptible event."
