Up to six people from different households will be allowed to meet indoors in cafés, pubs, and restaurants from Monday (17 May), the First Minister has confirmed.
Individuals from different households, or not in a bubble, will be required to maintain physical distancing, keeping two metres apart.
The announcement was made as the country's coronavirus case rates continue to fall.
The Welsh Government has also announced further funding for businesses that are still affected by the restrictions.
Eligible businesses will receive between £2,500 and £25,000. At noon on Monday (17 May), an eligibility checker will open on the Business Wales website.
The support will be made available to businesses such as restaurants, pubs, and cafés, nightclubs and late entertainment venues, events and conference venues not covered by the Welsh Government’s Cultural Recovery Fund (CRF), and supply chain businesses, which have been materially impacted by restrictions
