Football pundit and former Cymru international Robbie Savage has taken a dig at the UK's Prime Minister Boris Johnson for his blunder when he wished Scotland and England luck in the UEFA European Championship, but failed to mention Cymru.
It appeared that Johnson was not aware that Cymru was part of the tournament.
Savage said that Johnson's faux pas would only "fire up" Cymru to create "more Euros magic."
Writing in the Mirror, Savage said: "The word you were looking for, Prime Minister, is Wales. Little old Wales – you know, the country who reached the semi-finals of the last Euros in 2016, when England got knocked out by Iceland and Scotland weren't even there."
Savage took another dig at Johnson this evening, while appearing on BBC One's coverage of the Turkey versus Italy game— the opening fixture of the tournament.
He said: "If Boris Johnson is watching, Wales are in the tournament. Little old Wales again. I think Boris should realise England got knocked out against Iceland in the Euros, and Wales got to the semi-finals, but hey-ho."
