Cymru is leading the way when it comes to administering a first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
By April 21, around 1.71 million individuals had received their first vaccination, according to figures from Public Health Wales.
This equates to 67.9% of the adult population.
Second doses
Cymru is also ahead when it comes to administering both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine, according to official figures.
622,513 individuals have now received both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.
This means that approximately 24.7%— almost a quarter— of the Welsh adult population has been fully vaccinated.
