Pubs, restaurants, and cafés reopen outdoors

Pubs, bars, restaurants, and cafés are able to open outdoors from Monday (26 April).


Up to six people from six households will be able to meet up— with proper physical distancing and hygiene measures in place.


Organised outdoor activities for up to 30 people can also take place again.


Weddings receptions can be held outdoors for up to 30 people.


Outdoor attractions, including funfairs and theme parks can also reopen under the latest easing of restrictions.


What changes on Monday (26 April)?

  • Outdoor hospitality can resume, including at cafes, pubs and restaurants.

  • Weddings receptions can take place outdoors for up to 30 people.

  • Organised outdoor activities for up to 30 people can again take place.

  • Outdoor attractions, including funfairs and theme parks allowed to reopen.
