Polls close across Cymru...

It's 22:00 BST— polls have now closed across the country.


Due to the pandemic, votes for this year's Senedd election will be counted during the day on Friday (7 May), rather than overnight.


It is expected that some constituency results could begin to pour in from 13:30 BST on Friday (7 May), with most constituencies expected to have been called by around 17:00 BST.


Some constituencies have given estimated declaration times:

  • Dwyrain Caerfyrddin a Dinefwr 1.30pm

  • Llanelli 1.30pm

  • Rhondda 2.00pm

  • Dyffryn Clwyd 2.00pm

  • Gŵyr 2.30pm

  • Dwyrain Abertawe 2.30pm

  • Gorllewin Abertawe 2.30pm

  • Aberafan 5.00pm

  • Pen-y-bont ar Ogwr 5.00pm

  • Sir Fynwy 5.00pm

  • Castell-nedd 5.00pm

  • Ogwr 5.00pm

  • Gorllewin Caerfyrddin a De Sir Benfro 6.00pm

  • Preseli Sir Benfro 6.00pm

  • De Clwyd 7.00pm

  • Wrecsam 7.00pm


Results for the regional seats are expected later Friday (7 May) evening.
