Palestine solidarity protests planned for this weekend

Demonstrations to show solidarity with Palestine have been planned across the country for this weekend.


The United Nation's Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, Tor Wennesland, has warned that that the region is escalating toward “full scale war”.


On Saturday (15 May), protests will be held in Caerdydd, Machynlleth, Y Fenni, Llanandras, and Wrecsam, with another scheduled for Abertawe on Sunday (16 May).

Saturday (15 May)


Machynlleth: 11:00 a.m., The Clock Tower.

Wrecsam: 11.30 a.m., Queen Square.

Caerdydd: 12:00 p.m., Aneurin Bevan statue, Queen Street.

Y Fenni: 1:30 p.m., outside Waterstones.

Llanandras, outside Library.


Sunday (16 May)


Abertawe: 2:00 p.m., Castle Square.
