No weekly Covid deaths reported in Cymru for first time since start of pandemic

There have been no deaths registered involving Covid-19 in Cymru for the first week since the start of the pandemic, according to figures from the Office for National Statistics.


The latest figures cover the week ending June 18. The last registered Covid death occurred in Cymru on June 5.


Meanwhile the number of deaths involving Covid in England has increased in the past week to 102 deaths— up from 83 deaths in the previous week.
