New international flights between Caerdydd and Edinburgh start today

Aeroplane.

A new international flight route linking Caerdydd with Edinburgh begins on Monday, August 2.

The first Loganair flight between the cities will leave Edinburgh for Cardiff at 14:30 on Monday, before returning at 16:20.

The airline says that there will be five flights in each direction every week; taking one hour and 25 minutes.

The airline Flybe had previously offered flights from Caerdydd to the Scottish capital, but these were lost—along with other routes—when the company collapsed in March 2020.
