Welsh Labour member Mark Drakeford has been confirmed as First Minister on Wednesday (12 May) in the first meeting of the new Senedd.
Labour won thirty of the sixty seats in the Siambr on election day.
Drakeford was nominated by Rebecca Evans, Senedd member for Gŵyr, with no challengers from opposition parties.
Welsh Labour is expected to govern alone without a coalition or any other arrangement.
