A new opinion poll conducted by Savanta ComRes has given Welsh Labour a 9-point lead over the Conservatives, just one week before the Senedd election.

The poll, which was conducted between 23 - 28 April, shows Labour maintaining their healthy lead over the Conservatives, but nevertheless falling short of an overall majority.

According to Deryn Consulting's seat projector, Labour is projected to win 27 seats; four short of a majority.

Plaid Cymru is projected to win 15 seats, the Conservatives 13, Abolish 4, and the Liberal Democrats would retain their only seat.
