
Five Welsh locations have been named in the top 10 most "up-and-coming" places to live in the United Kingdom, according to property portal Boomin.
Penrhyn Gŵyr—an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty—was named as the most "up-and-coming" place to live across the whole of the UK, having seen a twenty-percent increase in the number of people searching for a move to the area on Google in the past three months alone.
The locations were ranked against ten factors, including the quality of local schools, house price increases, crime rate, and internet search queries.
Trefynwy was listed in fourth place, Aberogwr in fifth, Aberafan in sixth place, and Torfaen at number ten.
