The First Minister has said that Cymru could exist in a union with England in the event that Scotland becomes independent.
Speaking with journalist Theo Davies Lewis for The Spectator, Drakeford said that it was not 'impossible to design a relationship that will be to Wales’s advantage', but that it is 'not a comfortable thing to think about’.
Drakeford also said that any referendum on independence should not be a binary choice between independence and remaining in the United Kingdom, and that a third option of a reformed union should also be on the ballot paper.
