Cymru has become the first nation in the United Kingdom to administer a first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine to half its population.
By April 11, around 1.59 million people had received their first vaccination, according to figures from Public Health Wales.
This equates to ~50.4% of the population.
Scotland is at 48.8%, England is at 48.2%, and Northern Ireland is at 43.6%.
Second doses
Cymru is also leading the way when it comes to administering both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.
Approximately 16.8% of the Welsh population has now been fully vaccinated.
