Children as young as 12 years old in Cymru could be offered a Covid vaccine later this year, the First Minister has said.
Speaking to ITV Cymru, Mark Drakeford said that some vaccinations were beginning to get a license for children as young as 12.
He said that the Welsh Government would "very likely to want to take advantage" of any vaccine that successfully gets a license to supply doses to young children.
He said that if vaccines for young people do become available, then the Welsh Government would look at introducing a programme in secondary schools to administer the doses.
He added that this might "lift some of the other restrictions" that are currently in place in schools, including wearing masks in classrooms.
