Dominic Cummings has claimed that Boris Johnson is an "unthinkign [sic] unionist" who would like to reverse devolution, but wouldn't dare try.

Writing on 'Substack', the former chief adviser to the UK Prime Minister said: "He's [Boris Johnson] an unthinking unionist. Thinks devolution/ Scottish parliament was a disaster, wd like to reverse it but wont dare try..."

Disaster

The UK Prime Minister has previously come under fire for reportedly telling a meeting of Conservative MPs from the north of England that devolution had been a "disaster" in Scotland.

The Sun newspaper reported at the time that Johnson had told the MPs that "devolution has been a disaster north of the border".

Johnson also reportedly described it as former Prime Minister Tony Blair's "biggest mistake".
