All Under One Banner Kernow, a grassroots movement that seeks self-determination for Kernow has announced that it will hold its first ever march later this year.

The march will be held in Austol (St Austell)— the largest town in Kernow— at 13:00 on September 11.

AUOBKernow said that it aims to "act as a catalyst to promote greater discussion over the future of Cornwall at all levels".

A civic conversation

In a series of tweets announcing the march, the group said that leading political figures in Kernow needed to initiate a "civic conversation" on the constitutional future of the historic Celtic nation.

AUOBKernow said: "As in Wales, there is a need for leading political figures to initiate a civic conversation over our constitutional future. How far is the status quo sustainable? "Should we be considering devolution or even other forms of greater autonomy? As a result, we will be inviting leading members of all political parties along with speakers with no particular affiliation to give a series of short speeches on the subject."
