The Welsh Conservatives have accused Plaid Cymru leader Adam Price of "using Labour to move Wales towards independence."

In a message posted on social media, the party said that the Cooperation Agreement meant that Welsh Labour "cannot be trusted to protect Wales' place in the United Kingdom".

They also accused Drakeford and Price of placing power "over people's priorities."

A Welsh Conservatives spokesperson had previously told BBC Wales that Welsh Labour's deal with the "nationalists" will only will only cause "constitutional chaos that risks holding back our economic recovery."

The spokesperson also said that the "deal is remarkable for its absence of solutions to fix the NHS - currently experiencing its worst performance on record - or improve the economy in Wales".
